As is often the case when something is broken, I received a distress phone call. On a particular start of the holiday weekend, at about 3:45 PM on a Friday afternoon, our very much used rear door “push button” entry system failed. I thought that this was an easy fix. I phoned my local locksmith, one that has been in business for over 40 years and the one that we used exclusively. Guess what I was told? “Do you have any idea what time it is? We will be there on Monday Morning.” I asked how about we wait until Saturday morning and the man on the other end of the phone stated, rather strongly, “MONDAY MORNING! Goodbye!” and he hung up.

I turned to my co-worker and shared my “just happened” experience. I should note here that we are a 24 hour / 7 day a week emergency service provider and I was now in a tough spot. My co-worker motioned to “ The Lockmobile Calenders that were resting on the window sill. “Why don’t you give that number a call?” I thought, “Why not?” So, calling one of the three contact numbers listed on the LockMobile calendar card, a gentleman answered the phone almost immediately. He listened as I explained my sad story, lol, and then stated, “I’ll be there in 20 minutes!”

In about 17 minutes, a white haired man arrived in a blue work van with "The LockMobile" and many other descriptions of the services he offered painted on the sides. This jolly white haired man introduced himself as Bill and asked “Where is this door lock that is giving you a problem?” He was shown the problem lock and in about 10 minutes, had repaired the lock. I asked him for an invoice and he stated “You have had enough of a problem for today, this one’s no charge!” I could hardly believe my ears. It’s the start of a holiday weekend, Friday afternoon at dinner time and this locksmith just arrived in a very short notice, repaired our very much used door lock and did not want a dime for his effort? Unbelievable!

Needless to say, from that moment on, Bill has been our locksmith exclusively. He has handled EVERY job, small and large, that we have thrown at him. He is always a gentleman. I don’t believe that he has a mean bone in his body! He is always courteous and after his repair, you cannot even tell that he was here.

In this day and age, when you find a contractor that gives you excellent service, is on time, completes the job even after parts have to be ordered and without having to call and ask when are you coming back AND all at a very fair price, you hang onto that guy! We did!

I will forever be indebted to Bill, the owner and operator of The Lockmobile. He is prompt, reliable, courteous and exhibits a “Can Do!” attitude. It is my distinct pleasure to recommend him as a mobile locksmith for your use. I would be happy to provide my real life experiences with Lockmobile upon request!
